The Kantorei Sachsenhausen is an amateur choir composed predominantly of parishioners and supported in major projects by other singers from greater Frankfurt and by the Kurt-Thomas-Kammerchor.
Under the artistic direction of Choirmaster Andreas Köhs, the Choir can look back on numerous successful choral concerts, such as Bach's Christmas Oratorio (parts I - VI), Magnificat and St. Luke Passion, Vivaldi’s Gloria in D, Graun’s Christmas Oratorio, Haydn's Creation and Seven Last Words, Handel's Messiah and Brock-Passion, Mendelssohn's Paulus, Elias und Magnificat, Mozart's Requiem and C-minor Mass, Homilius’ St. John Passion and St. Mark-Passion, Kuhnau’s Magnificat and regular performances of Bach cantatas during church services.
